- BJP with Bharat on Instagram: "My Bengal is healing 🥹🪷 79 years after Independence, an elderly couple in Namkhana, South 24 Parganas, finally received electricity in their home. Imagine spending almost an entire lifetime without one of the most basic necessities of modern civilisation. For decades, successive Congress, Left Front and TMC governments failed to ensure that even this basic requirement reached every household. What a shameful reflection of governance! But the story also highlights what accountable leadership and ground-level intervention can achieve. BJP MLA Sumanta Mondal took up the couple's issue and helped facilitate their electricity connection. This is precisely the kind of people-centric approach Bengal needs, where public representatives focus on solving real problems instead of merely making political promises. With BJP now forming the government in West Bengal, people have renewed expectations of development, accountability and better delivery of essential services. No elderly couple should have to wait eight decades for electricity. Development is meaningful only when it reaches the last household, and every citizen deserves dignity, opportunity and basic facilities. #westbengal #bjp #tmc #modi #diwali" — Score 58/100
